Abstract

The advancement of forensic oncology pathology has increased diagnostic complexity and the demand for secure collaboration tools among specialists. This study aimed to develop the conceptual proposal for a digital platform called PathoConnect Forense, focused on anonymous case discussion, continuing education, and integration between pathologists and oncologists. The project followed a User-Centered Design approach, combined with Agile Development principles, and was structured in three stages: a literature review to identify gaps in existing solutions, a panel of experts to gather functional and non-functional requirements, and the creation of low-fidelity prototypes representing the system's architecture and navigation flow. As a result, the platform's main modules were defined—validated authentication, case discussion with mandatory anonymization, thematic groups, and a collaborative library—and two essential pillars were identified: data anonymization and scientific governance. The analysis demonstrated that the adopted methodology was effective in aligning technological solutions with clinical needs, ensuring security and usability from the conception stage. Although no tests have yet been conducted with real users, the prototype produced constitutes a solid foundation for the development of a minimum viable product, capable of promoting structured collaboration, continuous learning, and the ethical sharing of information. It is concluded that PathoConnect Forense represents an innovative and promising initiative to modernize the practice and communication in forensic pathology.
